In addition to our primary care role, Fenway Health is internationally known for its work on HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and research and is a leader in LGBT health advocacy and research. We have extensive experience in women's health, particularly understanding of the unique needs of lesbians, bisexual and transgender women. Our alternative insemination program and our family and parenting services for lesbians and gay men have helped empower the first generation of openly gay families. And our innovative acupuncture detoxification program has been widely studied and much imitated. And we have specialized programs to meet the needs of our bisexual and transgender patients and clients.
